(Fort Worth, TX) — The skies over North Texas are back open after an air traffic control center was forced to close.

An employee at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport tested positive for coronavirus, so the entire facility had to be disinfected.  This kept planes on the ground for two hours at DFW, ranked as the busiest airport in the US in 2020.  Some airlines diverted to other airports while waiting.

Nearly 200 flights were delayed and at least 15 canceled in one of the busiest travel times of the year.
