(Weatherford, Tx) – A driver has been arrested in the car crash that damaged a historic building in downtown Weatherford last week.

Weatherford Police say they arrested 22-year-old Travis Dean Salazar of Burleson on charges of driving while intoxicated and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  Salazar was booked into the Parker County Jail Wednesday with bond set at $15,000.  In the early morning hours of Jan. 29th, police say he crashed his car into the building at 101 S. Main St., which houses the offices of two law firms.

The building, constructed in 1886, suffered extensive damage.
