(Ft. Worth, TX)  —  Northern Fort Worth is under a boil order until at least midday tomorrow after a water treatment plant lost power for a couple of hours yesterday.

The plant shutdown means water may not be safe to drink without boiling it first.  It includes 9 cities that buy drinking water from Fort Worth.  The area that’s affected extends from Eagle Mountain Lake to Keller, north of Haslet and south to Sansom Park.  Also includes Lake Worth, Northlake, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club and Westlake.

The boil order affects some 200,000 residents.
