Paramedic Who Helped During Massive Pileup Gets New SUV

(Fort Worth, TX) — A MedStar paramedic who helped people in the deadly Fort Worth freeway wreck earlier this month, even though he was injured, is getting a new ride.

Trey McDaniel was on his way to work two-weeks ago when he was involved in the 133-vehicle pileup on I-35W that killed six people. McDaniel’s 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser was totaled, but he got out and started helping injured people.

Toyota Motor North America is presenting McDaniel with a new 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro today.
