(Undated) — Some national chain retailers are going to continue with COVID safety measures in states, like Texas, that have decided to ditch those requirements.
Kroger, Target, CVS and Walgreens have announced they will still require masks inside their stores because of CDC guidelines. Macy’s, Kohl’s, Ulta and Starbucks are also keeping mask rules in place. Kroger says their mask mandate will remain until all of its frontline grocery associates are vaccinated.
Not every business is sticking with it, though. Grocery store chain Albertsons says that while employees will still wear masks, customers will only be encouraged to do so.
