Texas Expands Vaccination Effort To Teachers, Child Care Workers

(Houston, TX) — Health officials in Texas are expanding COVID vaccine eligibility to include teachers and child care workers.

This includes staff in pre-primary, primary and secondary schools. Head start and early head start staff are also eligible to get the shot now, as well as licensed child care providers.

State health officials are asking vaccine providers to keep up with the number of education and child care employees being given the vaccine.
