Pepé Le Pew Won’t Be Removed From Six Flags Over Texas

(Arlington, TX)  —  A cartoon skunk still has a home at Six Flags Over Texas.

Taking its cue from a New York Times editorial, Warner Bros. decided to pull Pepé Le Pew from the upcoming “Space Jam” sequel.  The editorial claimed the amorous skunk with the French accent “normalized rape culture.”  Pepé Le Pew has been part of the Looney Tunes lineup since 1945.

The cartoon images are all over Six Flags, and a spokesperson for Six Flags Entertainment said on Tuesday that Pepé Le Pew isn’t going anywhere.
