Man Found Dead Inside SUV In Trinity River In Fort Worth

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth police are investigating after a man was found dead inside an SUV in the Trinity River early Sunday morning.

Officers say the man lost control of the SUV and drove through a guardrail on South Beach Street near I-30 at 12:30 a.m.

A dive team from the Fort Worth Fire Department found the man dead inside the SUV, which was removed from the water later Sunday morning. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the man as 40 year old Joe Michael Watson of Haltom City.
