(San Antonio, TX)  —  Arrivals and departures are underway again at the San Antonio Airport after a fatal officer-involved shooting led to a lockdown on Thursday.

A man who had fired shots from a freeway ramp later opened fire in a parking garage at the airport, where a park police officer shot him.  The suspect was pronounced dead at a local hospital.  No one was hurt in the earlier shooting near Loop 1604 and 281.

His name hasn’t been released, but San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says they’d dealt with him and his mental issues before.
