(Dallas, TX) — Early voting is underway for the upcoming election, and a lot of seats are at stake in North Texas.
After nearly ten-years in office, incumbent Mayor Betsy Price of Fort Worth is not running for re-election. The mayor of Arlington can’t run again because of term limits.
GOP Rep. Ron Wright’s seat in the 6th Congressional District, which includes parts of Tarrant, Ellis and Navarro County, is up for grabs after his death in February. His widow, Susan Wright, is one of nearly two-dozen candidates in the race.
Early voting started Monday and ends April 27th. Election day is May 1st.
