(Denton, TX) — A mother and daughter from Denton are now graduates of the University of North Texas.

Kathy and Emma Earhart earned their bachelor’s degree together over the past couple of years, and now they plan to press on with their education.  What makes their story even more remarkable is that Emma is only 17-years-old.

They say they plan to take the Medical College Admission Test in January, apply to a medical school, and get master’s degrees in biology.
