(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys are bringing in free agent quarterback Brett Hundley for a workout tentatively scheduled for Friday.
The news comes after the team chose not to sign J.T. Barrett or Brady Davis, who both tried out during rookie minicamp. Hundley spent the 2020 season in Arizona and was inactive for all 16 games, but he played under Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy during two seasons in Green Bay.
Hundley started nine games for the Packers in 2017. Dallas already has Garrett Gilbert, Cooper Rush, and Ben DiNucci on the roster behind Dak Prescott.
