(Flower Mound, TX) — A nearly eleven-hour standoff in Flower Mound is over and a man is in custody after a shooing that wounded three police officers Wednesday night.
It started with a 911 call asking officers to check on a possibly suicidal person. Police say when officers arrived at the home on Termaine Drive, a man inside opened fire and hit three officers.
Two were taken to hospitals in stable condition and one had been released by early this morning. One of the officers was grazed by a bullet, another was hit in a metal shield he was carrying, and the third was hit in his bulletproof vest. He was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police department officials say all three officers are “doing well.”
60-year-old Bryan Hucabee is charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
