(Glen Rose, Tx) – Due to a report of someone almost drowning and at the request of the Glen Rose Fire Marshal, the city has ordered Big Rocks Park to be closed until the water subsides to a safer level.

A statement on the city of Glen Rose website says, “We regret the inconvenience this may cause some, but protecting public health and safety is an overriding priority”.

This is the second time this month that the popular swimming hole has been shut down due to flooding and raging waters.
