(Fort Worth, Tx) – Outgoing Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price has announced she will run for Tarrant County Judge in 2022.

In making the announcement early Thursday morning, Price said if elected she would like to tackle issues like education and public health on the county level.  Price spent 10 years as Mayor of Fort Worth and decided earlier this year she would not seek reelection.

Current Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley announced earlier this week that he would not seek reelection.

Price will face former Farmers Branch Mayor Tim O’Hare in the Republican primary.
