(Grapevine, TX) — Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens are investigating the drowning death of a 33-year-old man in Grapevine Lake on Tuesday night.

he Grapevine Fire Department responded at about 7:30 p.m. to a reported possible drowning near Minnow Loop and Oak Grove South.  The man had been swimming without a life jacket and was underwater for at least ten-minutes before nearby swimmers pulled him out.

Grapevine police administered CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.  His name hasn’t been released.
