TxDOT Launches Distracted Driving Campaign

(Austin, TX) — The Texas Department of Transportation is launching its new distracted driving campaign.

The campaign is called “Talk, Text, Crash” and is being fronted by actor Jensen Ackles, who was originally from North Texas. It has been illegal to conduct anything related to texting while driving in Texas since 2017.

The department says last year there were 367 people killed statewide due to texting and driving.
