Suspect Who Triggered Amber Alert Arrested In Tarrant County For Kidnapping Teen

(Mansfield, TX) — A man suspected of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl out of Brownsville is in custody after being arrested in Mansfield.

Officials confirmed yesterday that 18-year-old Clayton Phillips was taken into custody in Tarrant County, and the girl, identified as Antonette Rodriguez, has been reunited with her family.

Authorities say Phillips and Rodriguez met online, and the Mansfield Police Department released a video of Phillips’ arrest on their Twitter page.
