Air Force Confirms Cadet From Cleburne Killed While On Leave

(Cleburne, TX) — The U.S Air Force says an academy cadet was killed last week in a small plane crash while on leave at home in North Texas.

The Air Force confirmed over the weekend that Cleburne native Nick Duran was one of two people who died in the single-engine plane crash last Thursday. Duran was in his junior year at the Air Force Academy.

The FAA and NTSB are still investigating the cause of the accident.
