(Fort Worth, TX) — TCU is being sanctioned by the NCAA for violations within the men’s basketball program.
The Horned Frogs are on probation for the next three years after former assistant Corey Barker was tied to an FBI corruption probe. Barker was fired in March 2020 after the FBI suggested he took bribes from a sports business manager. He was never charged with a crime.
TCU cut its basketball budget 1% and also fined itself $5,000.
