(Heathrow, FL) — Nearly 50-million Americans are expected to travel for the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The forecast from Triple-A is the latest indication that summer travel is roaring back after the coronavirus pandemic kept most people close to home last year. Triple-A says just under 48-million people will travel between July 1st and July 5th and more than 43 and-a-half million will travel by car.
Another 3.5 million are expected to fly, bringing airlines back to 90-percent of pre-pandemic travel.
