(Fort Worth, TX) — The kindest boy in North Texas is collecting books for kids who need them.
Ten-year-old Orion Jean of Fort Worth won the 500-dollar first prize in last year’s National Kindness Speech contest. He used the money to set up a website called Race to Kindness. After donating toys to sick kids in North Texas, he collected meals for Thanksgiving.
He now has a goal to collect 500,000 books by the end of the month for kids in need.
A book drive is coming up on Saturday at the Shops at Clear Fork in Fort Worth.
