Big12 Exec Committee Meets With OU, UT Presidents

(Irving, TX) — The Big Twelve Executive Committee met with the presidents of OU and the University of Texas yesterday amid reports that the schools are planning to leave the conference for the S-E-C.

Big Twelve Commissioner Bob Bowlsby said the committee wants to make a plan that would benefit the two flagship programs as well as the rest of the conference.

Bowlsby called the meeting “cordial,” and said he expects the conversation to continue in the days ahead.
