(Arlington, TX) — Joey Gallo homered as the Rangers held off the Diamondbacks 5-4 at home.
Gallo lifted Texas with his three-run shot in the fourth, his first long ball since the All-Star break. Nate Lowe batted in a pair of runs for the Rangers, who snapped a 12-game losing skid. Dane Dunning earned his fourth win, allowing two runs over six-and-one-third innings. Ian Kennedy secured his 16th save.
They continue the series tonight.
