Illegal Street Racing Event Leads To Dozens Of Arrests In Fort Worth

(Fort Worth, TX) — Dozens of people are facing charges after an illegal street racing event was busted in Fort Worth Friday night.

Officers responded to the area of Sandshell Drive south of Fossil Creek Blvd. around 10 p.m. In total, 60 adults and seven juveniles were cited or arrested, while 29 vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police say the event was planned by a local street racing group.
