(Wichita Falls, Tx) – Wichita Falls Police say a man there tried to run over two women with his truck over the weekend.

The Wichita Falls Times Record reports 42-year-old Shaun MacDonald was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana in connection to this incident.  It happened Friday night on Monroe Street.  Police say Multiple people flagged officers down and told them a silver Dodge truck tried to run over two women.

The officers caught up with the truck and the driver identified himself as MacDonald, who said he was having an argument with his ex-girlfriend, but that he only sped around the women.

His bond is set at $20,500.  The women were not injured.
