(Washington, DC)  —  Texas Democrats who fled to DC to obstruct a vote on an election integrity bill in Austin are now weighing their legal options.

A second special session of the Texas Legislature is underway, but still lacks a quorum.  State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer of San Antonio says more of his colleagues are returning to Texas ever since Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan authorized their arrest.

House GOP caucus chair Jim Murphy of Harris County says the runaway Democrats need to come back to Austin and get to work.
