(Fort Worth, Tx) – The Fort Worth City Council has ok’d the temporary closure of several streets in the historic Stockyards for the filming of Paramount’s “Yellowstone 1883”.

From Sept. 1-17 roadways will be shut down on North Houston Street from 24th to 25th Street, Ellis Avenue from 24th to 25th Street, and West Exchange Avenue from Clinton Avenue to Ellis Avenue, for filming and production of the “Yellowstone” prequel.

The closed street sections will be transformed to look like they would have in the year 1883, with streetlights coming down and dirt brought in to cover the paved roadways.
