Abbott: Kabul Airport U.S. Military Deaths ‘Absolute Tragedy’

(Austin, TX) — Gov. Greg Abbott is calling the deaths of 13 U.S. military members in Afghanistan a tragedy.

Abbott says he’s praying for the Marines and other military personnel who died in attacks at the Kabul Airport. He also thanked them for defending the U.S. principles of freedom and liberty for all.

ISIS-K has admitted to being behind the attacks, which also left Afghan civilians dead.
