(Granbury, Tx) –  The historic Granbury square is the next spot in North Texas to be features in the filming of Paramount’s new “1883”, the prequel to the network’s popular “Yellowstone” TV series.

The city of Granbury announced street closures to take place from 7am – 9pm on Tuesday (August 31), portions of two streets adjacent to the Square will be closed.  Houston Street will be closed from Pearl Street to Rucker.  Also Bridge Street will be closed from Crockett to Lambert.

In addition to street closures Tuesday, parking availability at City Hall will be reduced.  If the lot is full, alternative locations are American Town Hall at 220 N. Travis and the First National Bank lot north of the drive-through lanes behind the bank.

Granbury Police Officers will be assisting with traffic control. Please use caution in the area.
