(Austin, TX) — Sweeping election reforms are coming to Texas.
The State House and Senate have agreed on a final version of the GOP-backed elections bill, and it is now headed to Governor Abbott’s desk. The bill enhances ID requirements for mail-in ballots, adds protections for poll watchers, and will ban drive-thru and overnight voting.
The governor said he looks forward to signing the bill into law.
