State Suing School Districts Over Mask Mandates

(Richardson, TX) — State Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing six Texas school districts over mask mandates.

Gov. Greg Abbott has issued an executive order barring local governments and school districts from enacting mask mandates. More than 80 school districts statewide have done so anyway.

Starting today, the Fort Worth ISD will be joining the group of school districts requiring students and staff to wear a mask in classes and school buildings.
