(Dallas TX) — A Texas man will be spending two years in prison for ripping off the federal government.

Fahad Shah of Murphy was able to pocket more than three-million-dollars in Paycheck Protection Program loans that were guaranteed under the federal COVID aid package.  He claimed that his family’s wedding planning business employed more than 100 people, but in reality, the only workers were he and his wife.

The feds say he used the cash to buy two Teslas and a Mercedes.
