(Undated) —  The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $2.82 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up one-cent from a week ago and is 95-cents more than a year ago.  The national average is $3.19.  Gulf Coast refinery output continues to recover after the two recent storms in Texas and Louisiana.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is $2.88.
