Proposed Redistricting Map Advances To Full House Chamber

(Austin, TX) — The proposed redistricting map for the Texas House is being advanced to the full chamber.

The House Redistricting Committee voted to approve the map yesterday after a 16-hour hearing with plenty of public testimony.

The House is expected to begin debate on the map in the next few days.
