(Dallas, TX) — City and sports leaders across DFW are ready to see some World Cup action return to the area.
On Saturday, FIFA officials had a look at the FC Dallas facilities in Frisco, including the National Soccer Hall of Fame. On Sunday, leaders lobbied FIFA to bring 2026 World Cup games to AT&T Stadium. Dallas hosted World Cup games in 1994.
Dallas is one of 17 U.S. cities in the running for ten host spots for the 2026 event.
