Texas Extending Emergency SNAP Benefits Again

(Austin, TX) — Texas is extending emergency benefits again for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Governor Greg Abbott announced the state will give out over $310-million this month.  The governor says the cash will help feed needy Texans severely impacted by the COVID pandemic.

SNAP households should get at least $95 extra in their accounts by the end of the month.
