Two North Texas McDonald's Offer New McPlant On Trial Basis

(Irving, TX) — North Texans are among the first in the nation to get a chance to try McDonald’s new McPlant sandwich.

Eight McDonald’s restaurants in the U.S. started offering the sandwich on Wednesday, including two in North Texas. One of the locations is on North Josey Lane in Carrollton, and the other is on North Belt Line Road in Irving.

McDonald’s says the McPlant has a plant-based patty co-developed with Beyond Meat. It’s made from ingredients such as peas, rice, and potatoes.
