Cowboys To Honor Vets This Sunday

(Dallas, TX) — In honor of veterans, the Dallas Cowboys’ helmets will feature a red stripe on Sunday.

The Cowboys’ usual blue-white-blue striping down the middle of the helmet will be changed to red-white-blue for the game against the visiting Denver Broncos at AT&T Stadium.

Team officials decided the one-time-only adjustment would be a part of honoring Medal of Honor recipients in the NFL’s Salute to Service initiative to honor vets on the Veterans Day weekend.
