AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Down One Cent Since Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $3.07 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is down one-cent from a week ago and is a $1.27 higher than a year ago. The national average is $3.42. The average price at the pump in both Dallas and Fort worth is $3.15.

A slight drop in demand has led to price relief at the pump. But pump prices will stay high as long as oil prices are above $80 a barrel.
