Ex-Cop Heads To Trial In January In Woman's Death

(Fort Worth, TX) — Trial is now set for January for the former Fort Worth police officer accused of killing a Black woman inside her home.

A Tarrant County judge Tuesday told Aaron Dean when he’d face the jury, although a change of venue motion is expected. Forth Worth PD body camera footage appears to show Dean shoot Tatiana Jefferson through a backyard window in October 2019.

Dean and other officers went to Jefferson’s home after a neighbor reported the front door was open.
