Food Bank Prepared To Feed Thousands At Thanksgiving

(Fort Worth, TX) — Officials with the Tarrant Area Food Bank say they’re ready to serve needy North Texans at least through Thanksgiving.

Last year, the food bank fed ten-thousand families in one day at the AT&T Stadium giveaway. They say they expect to exceed that number this year. Food banks nationwide say they’re experiencing shortages as the holidays approach, partially because of inflated prices and supply chain problems.

But the Tarrant Area Food Bank says it planned ahead and has plenty of local donations on the shelves.
