Three-Year-Old Girl Shot In Fort Worth Dies

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth police are investigating the death of a three-year-old girl who was shot on Sunday afternoon.

Sheree Jackson’s father brought the wounded child to the Tarrant County Jail lobby about 3 p.m. He told officers she had been shot at the Stockyards, a few miles away from the jail. The girl was taken to the hospital, where she died Wednesday.

The police department’s gun violence and homicide units are looking over the facts of the case. So far there’s no word about a suspect.
