(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the death of a newborn baby girl.

Officers were called to a home on Hampshire Boulevard near House Street on Wednesday afternoon.  They found the dead baby under a carport.  The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office says the baby was less than one-day old.  Her cause of death hasn’t been determined.

Detectives have questioned a person of interest, but nobody’s been arrested.
