Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick Tests Positive For COVID-19

(Austin, TX) — Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Patrick’s campaign announced yesterday the 71-year-old was diagnosed with the virus last week and has since tested negative but is still in quarantine. His staff says the Lieutenant Governor’s symptoms were mild, and the virus did not spread to anyone else in his household.

Patrick is expected to return to his regular duties by the end of the week.
