(Oklahoma City, OK) — A purse donated to a Oklahoma City museum is believed to have been owned by Bonnie Ray Parker of the infamous Bonnie and Clyde duo.
The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum has asked the University of Central Oklahoma to help authenticate the purse, which is stamped with Parker’s name and has a single bullet hole.
UCO faculty members say they will look for DNA or fingerprints on the purse. If they find DNA the sample can be compared to Parker’s last known living relative.
