AAA Texas: Statewide Average Gas Price Up From Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $2.92 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up one-cent from a week ago and is 84-cents more than a year ago. The national average is $3.30. Gasoline supply is up, and demand is down, but rising crude prices are keeping the pump price from dropping.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is $2.98.
