Reports: Gary Patterson Joins UT As Special Assistant

(Austin, TX)  —  Gary Patterson is joining the Texas Longhorns.

Multiple reports say the ex-TCU football coach will be a special assistant to Longhorns Head Coach Steve Sarkisian.  Patterson was spotted at a basketball game in Texas gear last night.  He was also seen talking with UT’s AD Chris Del Conte.

Patterson told Austin American-Statesman at the time that nothing was official, just yet.
