(Plano, TX) — The North Texas-based founder of the Oath Keepers is pleading not guilty to seditious conspiracy charges in connection to last year’s Capitol riot.
Granbury resident Stewart Rhodes entered the plea Tuesday in federal court. Prosecutors say Rhodes and ten others planned to keep Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 Presidential election.
They were indicted earlier this month. Rhodes is still hoping to get bail and is waiting for a judge’s decision.
