(Plano, TX) — The North Texas-based founder of the Oath Keepers group will remain in custody until his trial date.
Stewart Rhodes of Granbury pleaded not guilty in federal court to seditious conspiracy charges linked to last year’s unrest at the Capitol. Prosecutors say Rhodes and ten others planned to keep Congress from certifying President Biden’s win in the 2020 election. They were indicted earlier this month.
A Federal Judge in a Plano ruled on Wednesday that Rhodes will be held until his trial.
